The Hwy. Cafe started in 2020 in Pemberton, British Columbia — a small plant-based cafe in a quiet industrial park that somehow became a must-stop for locals and Sea to Sky travellers alike. The formula was never complicated: familiar comfort foods, local ingredients, and good vibes.

Pemberton voted us a Best of Pemberton favourite three times. Then life pointed the compass east, and the cafe became a food truck in Hamilton, Ontario — trading mountain views for waterfalls and the escarpment.

Yes, everything we serve is vegan. But that's the healthy bonus, not the sales pitch. We make burgers, fries and grilled cheeze that stand on their own — if you're looking for a new food truck in Hamilton or a vegan restaurant experience without the lecture, pull over.
